I’m passionate about coding, personal finance, and helping others achieve their goals. I am also passionate about learning French! This app is a reflection of that passion. You might be wondering, why create another personal finance app? The reality is, many people still rely on spreadsheets or even pen and paper to manage their finances. Why? Perhaps, like me, they’ve been frustrated by apps that either lack essential features, overwhelm with irrelevant ones, or are overly complex. Further, many require you to connect your bank to the app before you can use them. Add to that the disappointment of paying for something that doesn’t meet expectations. Out of this frustration, I decided to build an app tailored to my needs, one that helps me manage my finances and plan for my retirement.

This project has been a labour of love for quite some time. This didn't start off as a commercial project. It began as a simple budgeting app with intuitive reporting and charting features, designed to replace my complicated spreadsheets. As I was using it, I realized there were still aspects of my finances that the app didn’t cover. I wanted to include my mortgage and retirement savings in the reports, creating a single platform to provide a comprehensive view of my current financial situation and my journey toward retirement. So I kept adding features!

Over time, through conversations with others, I discovered that many people were struggling to manage their personal finances effectively. Many didn't have a complete picture of where they were at on their way to retirement. This realization inspired me to expand the app's features, optimizing its interface and overall usefulness. I understand that everyone's financial journey is unique, with different goals and objectives. That's why this app is designed to provide you with the tools and insights needed to make informed financial decisions. My hope is that it will empower you to take control of your finances and help you achieve your retirement goals with confidence.
